Big Imprint builds all of our client websites on a common platform called WordPress. WordPress is an extremely robust engine used on millions of websites all over the world. Due to its popularity, developers are constantly evolving and improving its capabilities.
In its most recent upgrade, WordPress saw a major change to the page and post editor.
When you login to the website dashboard and edit a page or post, the editing area will now appear a bit different. Instead of a window editing area, you’ll see editing blocks.
This change is a positive step toward improving the experience for users and provides an easier and more visual tool for updating content.
This is great news for WordPress users, and something that has been in the works for quite some time.
There will, however, be a small learning curve as the new editor does look and function a bit differently than what you are used to. Please reach out to us for training on the new editor. We know shifting workflow to a new format is sometimes difficult. We’re happy to help navigate the changes and provide training at no extra charge.
